Coming to our community to honor, remember, and heal together.
About the Exhibit
The Wall That Heals is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. As it travels to communities across the country, it brings with it a mobile Education Center that shares the history, stories, and personal impact of the Vietnam War.
This August, The Wall comes to Blue Tip Park (300 Blue Tip Way, Wadsworth, OH 44281). Open 24 hours a day from Thursday, August 27th through Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Free admission.

Visitors walk alongside The Wall and can do name rubbings of individual service members.
The Education Center features photos of service members from the Wadsworth area whose names appear on The Wall.
Vietnam veterans from our community who returned home and later died from service-related causes are honored here.
Exhibits tell the complete story of the Vietnam War and era, designed for visitors of all ages.

For Our Community
A shared place to pause.
A shared place to remember.
A shared place to honor.
For veterans, families, students, and neighbors, this experience connects our community to the people and the stories behind history. Hosting The Wall That Heals allows Wadsworth to express gratitude, respect, and remembrance together.
Honoring Our Own
The mobile Education Center features two powerful displays that bring The Wall home to Wadsworth. Hometown Heroes puts faces to the names of service members from our area who appear on The Wall. The In Memory display honors Vietnam veterans who returned home and later died as a result of their service. These are our neighbors. These are our fathers, brothers, and friends.

Visitors connect with the names and stories of those who served.
